Wojciech Szczęsny raves about Barcelona loanee Marcus Rashford’s ‘magical right foot’

Marcus Rashford has been in good form for Barcelona since joining on loan from Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

He’s now come in for huge praise from goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny who has revealed just how highly he rates the England international.

“He’s an excellent player, I love him a lot,” he told the club’s media.

“Direct in his play, attacks with speed, and he’s contributed to a lot of goals. I think he’s a complete player, and I remember him since he was 18 or 19 in the Premier League. I knew he was special back then.

“He has fewer goals than he deserves, because in training, when he’s having a good day, you can’t stop him. If he shows that magical right foot more in matches, he’ll be very dangerous.”

Rashford was given an extra day off this week to rest, and headed back to Manchester, but will be back in action on Sunday when Barca take on Elche.
